First off, thanks to everyone who participated! Ya’ll are awesome, you put a lot of hard work in to your videos and we love seeing the results 🙂 It is unbelievably cool to see all the creativity and amazing things that can be done with Cinetics gear, as well as hear ideas for how you’d like to use Cinetics gear in the future.
As for the winners, we tallied up all the votes, likes, and tweets and here are the results:
The winner of Cinetics Short goes to… (drum roll please)
“Swinging London” by Jesse Lord
Description: My second timelapse clip – had a fantastic time in London and I think this reflects it well. Cinesquid and Cineskates were used, but a lot of the motion is post. Counting down to Cinemoco!
The winner of Open short goes to…
“For Granted” by Coven Films
Description: Two people meet one day. Sally leaves Dave a note. Is it meant to be? I would have used cinetics gear for the dolly on the car, table shots of Dave and the walk away.
And the winner of audience favorite goes to…
“Production Show Reel 2012″ by Pavel Suslov
Description: All of the parallel shots were done by Cinesquid attached to my car and to a jetbike (first shot with the boat). Cinesquid helped me to get very stable shots and smooth motion.
Everyone who participated wins a Cinetics T-Shirt! The Grand Prize winners of the three categories will receive a Cinetics T-Shirt, A Lowe-Pro Back Pack, and some sweet new Cinetics Gear!
